Take Out Tuesday Mouse Head Vacation Title SVG Download June 28

Hi Dandi Crafters I very recently got back from holiday. My family vacationed as you may have guessed from today's Take Out Tuesday download, in sunny Orlando Florida. Since my mind is still on vacation, I thought I would share a vacation title with you.A great title if you have a holiday planned at the Magic Kingdom, or even on the cruise line, or just a fan of the mouse. Enjoy!

Take Out Tuesday Megaphone Download April 26

Hi Dandi Crafters. Happy Take Out Tuesday to you. Today's Take Out Tuesday will give you something to cheer about. A sweet little megaphone! Take Out Tuesday Treat Box Card SVG Download Feb 8

Hi Dandi Crafters, Happy Take Out Tuesday to you! Today I have a real "treat" for you, well a treat box. I wanted to share the treat box that we settled on for my daughter's valentines. She is such a junior crafter and she really likes being crafty. One of her favorite things to do is make cards so here is an opportunity to make them until her heart is content.... Get it... It's Valentine's Day and I said until her heart is content.... WELL! I thought it was cute for spur of the, early in the AM moment. LOL I know, I know enough with bad almost jokes and onto the file...

The box card as you see it here is about 3.5x 3.5 assembled. You will find in the folder along with terms of use and my copyright, the svg file, the native Scut file created in SCAL 1, and for the first time you will find the native Make the Cut file of mtc. I am not sure that I can always include the mtc file as sometimes it is quite a job saving all the parts to scut format but this is just 1 file and I need to try it out as my Make The Cut fan base is growing now that I purchased, AND LOVE, Make The Cut.

I have included score lines in this project. If you are a regular follower you know that I do not like big heavy score lines. I prefer my score lines to be practically invisible so you should score in a well lite room so you can maybe see the score lines. LOL! This will fit on a standard 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock, but will JUST Fit; so you will need to pay special attention to where the cut starts and stops. Also after assembling quite a few of these I have found it best if you first score to make the card part. If you get a good card fold the box seems to assemble cleaner. I don't usually even score that part first, I usually line up and fold the card and then use my bone folder to get a crisp fold. I think what I like best about this card box file is that you can decide what to put in the box AFTER your done, candy bars, Reese's, Conversation Heart, M&M's, or even a small heart shaped cookie would fit.

Valentine's Day Heart Filligree Background SVG Download

Hi Dandi Crafter! I have a bonus download for your today. I have been playing in Make The Cut. I created a Valentine's Day Filigree Background. It is shown at 8 inches by 8 inches. This is the first time I have tried to make an ornate background for cutting. It came out pretty good so I thought I would share. This file also marks the first time that I have saved the file in the .mtc format, however don't fret the file is also available in the usual svg format and native scut format saved in SCAL 1. Also included are my terms of use copyright, and size recommendations.

Whew! Whoo! 200 Followers Celebration!

Hi Dandi Crafters! Wow 200 followers! I checked my blog followers at 2:30 Eastern Standard Time and I had 201 followers! I'm excited, excited not to be talking to myself! LOL! Really when I started this blog I didn't know what to expect. Then I got a handful of followers and felt compelled to thank them and just not bore them, LOL, so I came up with Take Out Tuesday Freebies. Then I got more followers. Thank you to those that visit regularly and even bigger thank you to those that comment frequently. I really appreciate it. It is those that take the time to follow and especially comment that Take Out Tuesday is really for. I asked a couple of weeks ago what everyone wanted to see when I reached 200 followers and we had a celebration. The overwhelming majority of you said you wanted the opportunity to catch up on the freebies you may have missed. So that is what we will be doing. For a limited time, I will post the links to all the Take Out Tuesday Freebies. Before I go I just want to thank you for following along with me. Thanks for not making me blog to myself. Take Out Tuesday Halloween Fence Edge Punch SVG Download September 7

Hi Dandi Crafters. You won't be on the fence with today's Take Out Tuesday's SVG Free Download. You'll jump to download it. We are getting you ready for Halloween with today's download. Today we have 3 edge punch type SVGs. We have a bat iron fence edge punch, a ghost iron fence punch, and a spider iron fence edge punch. They are too cute.

I got the inspiration for these while reading a message board. Someone had posted a haunted house layout they had done and embellished with a Martha Stewart bat iron fence. I thought the iron fence was a fun theme for Halloween so I made a few up myself. You will find both the SVG and SCUT files as well as copyright and terms of use in the zip folder. This file will work in both SCAL and SCAL 2.
Each iron fence was created at about 2 inches in height and 8 inches in width. However I have test cut the all the fence files and successfully cut the fences at 1 inch high as shown in the pictures. The cutest size I thought was at 1.5 inches high. It just seemed the perfect size for the fence.

Take Out Tuesday Bracket Tag SVG Download August 17

Hi Dandi Crafter! Thanks for joining me for another Take Out Tuesday. Today we have a cute little Bracket tag. I needed a small bracket tag with holes on both sides. I looked at some of my cartridges and didn't see one exactly like I needed so I made one up.
You will find both the scut file and svg file so you can cut it with your favorite cutting machine. It was designed with SCAL 1 so it should work both in SCAL 1 or SCAL 2. Also included are the folder is copyright and terms of use.

The zip file includes:
•Bracket Sign Blackout Layer (At the very bottom, shown in blue)
•Bracket Sign Shadow Layer (Shown in green,under the pink layer. Look at the holes.)
•Bracket Sign Layer (Shown in pink)
(hello is not included in the file)

The Shadow layer and the sign layer are the same size, it just depends on if you need a hole or not. The project I needed it for needed a hole on each side. (Sorry, can't show you that one just yet,it is getting ready for publication. It should be posted on my blog around mid November. Along with a very cool announcement. Be sure to check it out.) This file does well being cut small , on my project I cut it at just over 1.5 in width and just under 1 inch in height.

Take Out Tuesday 2 More Loopy Frames SVG Download August 3

Hi Dandi Crafters, happy August to you on this fine Take Out Tuesday! This week I have 2 more loopy frames for you. Did you see my Corner Bookmark created using one of the loopy frames from last week? I have a corner bookmark tutorial about it.
I created this week's download  because I need a nesting frame for a card I was making. I wanted some kind of hearts but I didn't want layered hearts so I this is what I came up with. I decided to make it today's Take Out Tuesday Freebie. As you have come to expect I have created it in SCAL so the file should work in SCAL or SCAL 2. You will find SVG format and SCUT format along with copyright and terms of use.

Take Out Tuesday: Checkered Square Card SVG Download July 13

Hi Dandi Crafter! I know why Your HERE! It is Tuesday and your hungry for some take out. Well as I hinted yesterday. I got a cute little checked square card. I personally love this look. Checks say whimsical like nothing else, and it doesn't even have to try! LOL
I find little square cards make wonderful cards to accompany any gift you plan on giving. The size shown here is 4x4 but you can easily adjust the size to your needs. This is an easy peasy little card. Just cut it out decorate it to your taste and it looks like you spent so much time on it. Both svg and SCUT files are included in file along with copyright and terms of use. The SCUT file was created in SCAL so it will work in both SCAL 1 and SCAL 2.

The zip file includes:
•Layer A(shown in polka dot yellow)
•Layer B (shown black)
•Layer C (not shown)
•Layer C- ALT (shown in white)

Layer C and Layer C-ALT are both bases for the card. The C-Alt layer is a folded card while Layer C is just a flat note card. You will have to figure out how to score and fold the Layer C-ALT in half all by yourself though. Hi all you Dandi Crafters! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Let's dish the Tuesday Take Out. I can hear you saying, yes that's why we're here that's the ticket...Indeed it is the ticket. I have been laying around lately watching tv and movies with my daughter. Lots of them lately have had tickets in them, Willy Wonka and the chocolate Factory, The Polar Express (I always call it the Polar Bear Express and my kid's always correct me. Don't tell them I caught on and I actually know the name.) Anyway sometimes you just need a ticket and by watching these movies I can tell you it can't be any ordinary ticket so neither is mine! LOL

Father's Day Gratitude Faux Wallet with SVG Download

Hi all you Dandi Crafters! I am excited about this project because it is the first project that I completed as a Design Team Member for Sugar Sweet Paper Treats. The theme of this challenge was Stitches. So be sure to pop over there and visit and comment (it will make me look good!. LOL) Come'n at you today is this cute little Father's Day Gratitude Faux Wallet. The wallet is faux not the gratitude...LOL The wallet has little pockets. Each of my 4 kiddos took an index card and wrote something that they were grateful for about their Dad and a nice little extra chore that they will perform to make Dad's life easier. Then I took a snap shot of the kids and placed in the picture pocket area. The picture and filled in gratitude index cards are not shown because the kids felt those should be for Dad's eyes only. But I am sure you get the idea.

This is what the wallet looks like before it is assembled. Of course you will have to add the faux stitching yourself. The wallet itself is made up of 4 pieces. The wallet is made to cut out using only 2 pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper. You can cut the index cards out on what ever paper you have laying around handy. I also used cuttlebug's embossing folder, classeur de gaufrage, Spots and Dots, Pois and Point, to give it a bit of texture to add some interest.
I also used some vinyl I had around to add a super dad logo to the front. The Super Dad I made up and cut out in SCAL but the lightening bolt emblem is from Cricut Cartridge/Cartouche Paper Dolls Dress Up, page 56 Accessories 2, no shift key, in the hand book.

Add a bit of velcro to the tab area and the wallet will stay shut.
